SINGAPORE stocks opened unchanged on Tuesday, with the
Straits Times Index moving up 0.79 points to 3,147.94 as at 9 am.
About 52.3 million shares worth S$46.8 million in total
changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.89 per share.
The most actively traded counter was Swee Hong, which rose
S$0.001 to S$0.017 with 12.9 million shares changing hands. Other actives
included Disa and IHC.
Gainers outnumbered losers 73 to 50, or about three up for
every two down.
